Start your Kovalam Beaches Tours in the destination Kovalam, which
meant as a groove of coconut trees, is a small village in the state of Kerala.
The Beaches in Kovalam derives its name from the large number of coconut trees
that are seen all along the shores gently swaying in the wind as if welcoming
the visitors to the most picturesque beach in the state. The beaches in Kovalam
filled with emerald blue waters of the Arabian Sea that playfully touch the
golden sands and the palm fringed bays make it an ideal getaway destination.
The picture perfect beaches in Kovalam are divided into three parts, the southern
part or the Light House Beach, the middle part, also known as the Hawah and
the northern part, famous for its wooden fishing vessels.
The beach is an ideal place to hang up your boots and relax your tired bodies.
The gentle waves blowing into your face and the sound of the rippling sea waves
make it a traveller's paradise. People can be commonly seen engaged in activities
such as aquatics, swimming and sunbathing. A number of eateries and sea side
restaurants serve an excellent variety of food. You can also go in for a romantic
sunrise or sunset cruise in the emerald waters of the Arabian Sea, offered by
the local fishermen.
